Hi,

I am looking for any books out there that offer tips on better shooting specifically for "Outdoor" and "Action" photography.

It seems most books are studio based or assume you can wait for the perfect conditions. As we all know that is not always possible!!

Thanks,
T4G

Not actually a book, but High Mountain or was it On the Edge published a three parted article called "Better Climbign Photos" - by Ian Parnell. The Planet Fear website had the articles online, but not certain do they still have 'em after the update to PlanetFear 2.0.

not sure where you are looking but there are probably hundreds of books on outdoor photography. there are books on photography for just about every subject from climbing to paddling to major pro sports to landscape, ect.

jeff achey (??) writes one specifically for climbing and my personal favorite is Charles Campells book which also includes information on his "Zone" system which can be purchased separately. a lot of information in the campell book.

I would recommend any of Galen Rowell's books (too many to list). He was the master at action and truly inspiring scenics
