Hi,
i am planning a 2 week trip somewhere in europe late november and was wondering what places would be recommended by my fellow climbers.
Since i am short on time, easy access to the site and to information is crucial.
What do you recommend?

Arco, Finale Ligure, Sardegna.
France:
VERDON!!!, Buoux, Ceuse.
That's where I've been there are many other places...knowyng WHERE you go in Europe would help :)

but i know what i am asking is very broad...i guess i am looking for the best of...also i am not very aware of the temperature and probably some very nice places are not very good destinations for november...

for november, i would suggest staying as much south as possible (uless its going to be a dry autumn, but we dont get many of those).
so southern spain, portugal, southern france, soulthern italy, sicily, korzica, mallorca, sardinia, greece...

End of November? Hands down, it's Sardina or Kalymnos. http://www.kalymnos-isl.gr/climb/oct2004.html. Check it out. There's a climber's festival there next month.

I was in Northern Spain last November for 3 weeks and all of Spain and France got clobbered with rain. We were still able to climb a lot due to the steepness of the crags but some places were pretty much out. Anything with tufas was wet.
We had a good stay at Siurana, even though we had rain there as well. Awesome crags, all walking distance from the campground.

Verdon might be a little cold in November...but it has the easiest access ever! You just have to park the car and rappell down...doesn't get any easier than that :)

Sardenia was recommended and I'm currently living there. It's all hit and go. I've been waiting about three or four days for the wind to die down so I can get out. There is insane climbing here, but it's windy and rainy beyond all reason starting in October.

That is supposedly the rainy season...but you never know what you are going to get, so...
Gorges du Tarn. Truly insane endurance climbing with zero learning curve (unlike Ceuse)...do NOT go if you don't like climbing on huge jugs and pockets with good feet on steep perfect limestone for up to 50 meters at a clip...good at all grades...plenty of sun or shade. Great camping...

Montsant/Siurana...IMHO, not quite in the same league as these other two...
have a great time, i'm jealous!

...also, flying into Barcelona makes for pretty easy access to many crags, and if you are going to rent a car...its cheaper in Spain, in my experience.
I have not been to Sardinia or Kalymnos...I hear that they are both amazing...but ease of access has not been something that I have heard associated with either locale.

you are rolling the dice with the weather that time of year but being from Quebec you're probably ok with a little chilliness...s.spain and Sardinia both sound good, I'd go with Sardinia, having been to s.spain I remember the good crags are too far apart, from El Chorro to Sella/Gandia is like 8 hours...then again you get the cultural stuff in s.spain like Sevilla and the Alhambra which make for lifetime-best-ever rest days...the people saying Buoux/Verdon in late November are dreaming, look at a map of the world and compare latitudes of Europe with the US, Europe is the same as the northern US
