I forget who I was tlaking to but they said that they had beta on some route at the red rocks ampitheatre. if anyone could help me out it would be much appreciated. I am raod tripping out to california from there to see the counting crows so I am trying to cut costs but more than anything I think it would be dope let alone mad bragging rights.

Dude, I wouldn't really want to climb on that rock if I were you. Especially during a concert you are begging for a court date. The rock is not of the highest quality either. Good luck with whatever your decision is.

As an employee of the City of Denver I would have to advise you to skip the idea. The rock is shitty and there wouldn't really be any bragging rights associated with climbing anything there. A few drunk concert goers end up in the hospital every year by thinking it would be cool. And like killclimbz says you will probably either end up in jail and/or with a healthy fine. Although if you want some beta on the only good climbing at Red Rocks Ampitheater here you go. Beg/Bribe/groupie and get into the backstage area. The entire building is carved into the rock and in the dressing rooms 2-3 of the walls are natural rock. The ceiling are pretty high and in one room there is a sandstone cave. There is some nice bouldering potential in there. I have messed around there the 2 times I doing some work back there but nothing serious.

I also forgot to mention. If you do get caught I believe the city of Denver police confiscate any gear you might be sporting.

Unlike your name, there would be TONS of SHAME amongst your fellow climbers if you tried pulling a stunt like that.

unethical yes.
But what a story to tell. instead of paying for a concert I free-climbed in, so what if I want to use my climbing experiance and skill to save me some bucks and give me a great story to tell.
whoever said something about me bringing shame to the rock climbing community. Shame huh, not quite, at least I will find a practical application for what I do.

Maybe you should use all that experiance and skill to climb in without scamming for beta on the internet.

Stunts like that will make it that much worse for the rest of us. Climb responsibly.

It's simple, don't climb in an area where it is illegal. I think that trying to do it so that you can get into a concert without having to buy a ticket makes it an even worse idea, not something that gives it some great purpose. Climbing illegally to save someone's life would have a great purpose.
