I climb at Nevada Climbing Center (formerly Sky's the limit, formerly rocks and ropes) in Las Vegas and they just put in a traverse route that spans the ENTIRE building... I dig it... thoughts?

when bouldering in the gym, i find traverse routes to be absolutely my favorite. with a finger injury that won't go away, the traverse routes allow me to put comparatively less stress on my fingers and focus on body positioning, espcecially footwork.

slopey traverses that require full concentration and no rests are some of my favorite types of gym climbs. luckily, since i set routes at a gym, i make routes that i like to climb (selfish old me).

but climbing outdoors is less taxing on my fingers anyway, so i try to stick to that
