Looking for anyone to climb in J Tree this coming Friday and Saturday (it might rain Sunday), Nov 12 - 13. I guess I'll be the belay slave on moderate routes, 8s and 9s. Used to lead 10s trad and 11s sport, but just getting back in... Let me know asap. Cheers.

I'll be up there Weds evening - Sat. I've got a bunch of "maybe's" going with me and nobody committed yet, so I'm not sure if I'll be TRing with noobs or leading some fun stuff. Either way, you're welcome to join. Drop me a PM or e-mail akimmerly@ucsd.edu for details.

How'd

Both my potential partners may be bailing on me, in which case I will be looking for a climbing partner too -- that is if you don't mind following mostly 7s and 8s (I have just started leading 9s at JTree).

Can do Fri/Sat, but prefer Sat/Sun (right now they are forecasting 10%, it may be worth waiting to see how the forecast is going to change; it was changing daily last week)

So can you keep me on your list of maybes (if you don't have a long list already). I will know for sure and can email you by Wed am. If this weekend doesn't work, perhaps another? I can easily find bolt-clippers but it's been harder for me to find people to climb with at JTree.

Cheers,
Al (alfred.kwok@pomona.edu)

There is a 30% chance of rain on Saturday. JTree is pretty unpredictable with the weather, but I'd keep my eye on it I were you. :D ...I know I am!

It was beautiful all weekend (well, at least through Sat.) although the wind made it a bit chilly.

Rain? Heh... not a drop in sight. Hope ya didn't stay home 'cause of the forecast.
