I want to get more into mountaineering and was woundering what is a good rope for both glacier travel and forth class climbing would be. What do you recomend and/or use?

I have been using a 37m (~120ft), 8.4mm, dry, 1/2 rope. For glacier with 2 or 3 and easy alpine rock.

It is important that you recognize and understand the drawbacks and limits of this, as with all gear. It is way light, though.
