My vote goes to Owens River Gorge! With the Buttermilks, The Happy and Sad Boulders and The Volcanic Tablelands right there too, you can't go wrong! Cheers Jeff

Shelf Road in Colorado is also a great winter sport climbing area. Great limestone pocket pulling!

Joshua Tree is not a sport climbing destination. World class trad climbing, yes; sport, no.

OBED in Wartburg Tennesee.......... Big boy crag for sport climbers!!!!! To many routes to mention, Excellent rock, cheap camping and a wealth of rock you have to see to believe. This crag is huge and every day on your trip you will freak out about the amount of routes available and the 500+ miles of climbing still untouched! Imagine Foster Falls times 20 and then add good rock.....!!!!! Beautiful setting and the winter to climbing venue you will never forget! P.S. You can climb in the rain because it is a very steep crag...60-70m overhanging routes for big boys and girls!!
