I will be going with a few people out to flagstaff over spring break. Where would a person find the best climbing of their life in flagstaff?? Thanks for all you can give. Pete

Sedona - only 30-40 minutes from Flag, and has some real classic climbs. the Mace for instance.

The best climbing of their life? That is such a general question. What kind of climbing are you looking for? Sport: The Pit Jacks Canyon (not as close to Flagstaff) Trad (single pitch): Paradise Forks Paradise Forks Paradise Forks (if you know what your doing, if your a novice crack climber this might not be the place for you) Overlook (better for the novice) Trad (multipitch): Granite Mtn. (in prescott) is not as close to Flagstaff as one might hope, but its got some great multipitch climbs. The approach can be kinda bruttle if you don't know where your going. Expect a 75-90min approach. Bouldering: Priest Draws for sure Elden West Buffalo Park

An hour to the east of Flagstaff are The Winslow Wall, mixed sport and trad, and The Asylum sector of Jacks Canyon. There's not much printed information on either area but they are both mentioned in Falcon's Rock Climbing Arizona
