Does this happen anyone else? Just had a great day of climbing. Led some new (to me) routes my partner did the same. The weather was great, we had a laugh. It was just a fab day. Now I'm trying to sleep but I can't, all I can think about is what I'm gonna do next. The next few climbs I want to do, the moves I need to make to gain particular positions, the gear I'll need to place, the next pieces of gear I want to buy. I just can't wait. Now the problem is I live in Ireland and its December, this last weekend was a fluke. It will probably rain till January (or beyond), at which point it will be even colder then it is now. Cack that means I'm confined to the gym for a while. Hmmm well that’s life I guess. I just gotta pray for good weather. Just another random thought from a climbing addict. Andy

It's happend to me before, but it's always been the night before I go climbing. I think about climbing all night and can't get any sleep. It sucks sometimes though, I feel like crap the next day when I climb.

The answer to your question is, ALL THE TIME. When going outside to climb, the night before I cant sleep because I am waiting to climb. Then the night after I cant sleep because I am thinking about the climbing I did. Even when I havent climbed for a while I still have trouble sleeping because I am tinking about climbing. And if there is anyone on this site who says they dont have trouble sleeping because thinking of climbng, then they are lieing.
