Howdy, In search of partners for the entire state of California. I'll be hitting CA around the 18th of December and working my way down to San Diego. I expect to be leaving the state around the middle of January. Anyone, anywhere for climbing let me know. Obviously the sierras might not work to well but there's a ton of others. Just to name a few: Pinnacles, Bishop, Santa Barbara, LA, Tahquitz/Suicide. I'm also planning Joshua Tree from January 6th for 2 weeks. I have a full rack, ropes and the jones. If you're a newbie let's go. Post a message here now!!! And I'll see you at the crag.

You might want to do a little description of yourself, experience, likes or dislikes in your profile for people to check out when deciding if they want to climb with you. There's a good chance that I'll be in Josh when you are so let me know If you still need partners.

count on snow at taquitz/suicide , pinnacles , and bishop most likely. that leaves you with the choss climbing in LA (malibu is ok) and i've never been to SB. so that leaves you with jtree. if i was you i would spend all availble time in jtree and visit those other areas when its warmer....

Snow in Bishop? No snow in Bishop. That fellas glass must be half empty. It was downright warm today. Shorts and T-shirts in the Owens Valley of the Eastern Sierra. Happy Boulders, B-milks...even Hairraiser Buttress at Granite Basin was climbable this weekend. I am down here in Lone Pine in the Alabama Hills. Give a shout if you come through. Send me a PM and I'll give you my phone number The Chossman

I live 20 mins from the western entrance to the Pinnacles. No trad experience, but wanting to learn. I will be around here until 28 Dec, when I fly out for a 2 week vacation to South America. Should you be around here before 29 Dec, feel free to give me a call and let's go to Pinnacles. Will mail you directly my phone number. Guidance.

hey! i live up in sonora, about an hour from yosemite....(that's my hook to get people to keep reading!) there are some sweet areas around here to climb besides yosemite. there is an area called table mountain that has about six climbing areas. i am pretty familiar with two of the areas called the gold wall and the grotto. anyway, i am hoping to climb the sunday after christmas there, or in the valley, with a friend. if we head to table mountain, come join us! if we go to the valley, we will probably do something multi-pitch. if you are around centeral/eastern california in january, please call and i would love to hook up. i have climbed for less than a year but can follow to 10a and can lead easy sport or trad. i nailed my first 9 trad lead last sunday. anyway, am always up for a good climb, anywhere with anyone! :) amy 209 533 2242

Vincent, Uh, there are very few times in one's life span that there is snow in pinnacles. It is totally climable.

I'm definately interested in socal since I haven't climbed anywhere but joshua tree. I won't be down there until after christmas. Definately some trad climbing. I've got a full rack so we could do some trad leads. I'm not apposed to climbing lower grades. I just want to climb.

Schmumbles you should really think about filling out you bio if you are seriously looking for partners. No this is not internet dating, but it is just as important to know something about a climbing partner you meet over the internet. Plus, it increases the probability of climbers with similar climbing interests and goals hooking up. Hope you have a killer trip.

I'll be in Bishop this weekend, camping at the pit, most likely saturday through tuesday. I drive a 1990 white toyota pickup with a UCSD sticker in the rear window. I should be at the buttermilks tomorrow, if you want to meet up. Other than that, pm me if you're interested in climbing locally in San Diego in January, or in the Los Angeles area next week. I'm a decent tr climber, but I'd prefer to go bouldering. I can trad lead 5.7, but am really inexperienced. I might be going on a trip to jtree in january (if the weather holds up) to do some bouldering. I think you have more than enough people posting on here to keep you busy for the duration of your trip.

I'm in North Tahoe, and the weather has been fine for climbing at the places with southern exposures. I went up to Big Chief yesterday (a good sport climbing area) and the weather was pretty much perfect. Anyway I'll be here until sometime early next week when i'm driving down to my dad's in SD for X-mas. I'll probably cut up the trip by stoping at Bishop for the ORG, so if you or anyone there want to rope up i'll be looking for a partner. I can lead 5.10 trad and 5.11 sport, but have been working some 12s lately with some success. I have the usual gear and a smallish trad rack (all metolius cams minus the #9 which is still in Yosemite). anyway have a good trip!
