I'm kinda leary of throwing my mailing address out to anyone who asks for it. I'd like a slacklining magazine, but do you have anything to show or say that would lend yourself some credibility? And is this just going to be another flimsy small-time rag like vbouldering, or is there seriously enough content out there to make a magazine just for slacklining?

By giving me your address, you will receive one copy, one time, of the first issue of Slackline Magazine. For any other issues, you must send a stamp per every issue you want. I produce this magazine out of my home in El Portal, just outside of Yosemite. The main article is about the Rostrum this year and the photos are amazing. The new mag due out this month is on low line tricks and has and killer article about simple slackline setup(two biner). I don't give out any of the address I receave so they're safe with me. We are a reader supported magazine and everyone can play a part by contributing the matereal that intrests them. I.E. photos, stories, reviews and beta. Oh, and about my credability, This is what Ric Pheigh from Slackline Brothers Inc. said: We got our copy of the first ever issue of Slackline Magazine a while back. Slackline is such a new sport that you can play what ever role you want to. Robi Borchard is stacking out editor and chief of Slackline Magazine, and his girlfriend Blair Choppa is the senior photo editor. Living in El Portal, located just outside Yosemite Park gives them easy access to the Camp Four scene and the highlines in the Valley. I was fortunate enough to meet Robi and Blair in Camp Four this last summer. Robi has major skills on the line, and they are real cool kids. I loved the highline pics in Slackline Magazine, all the pics were excellent. The text was very well done also. Obviously hand bound with a knotted jute string. We are putting ours away for safe keeping because I know this will be collectable someday. Thank you for my copy! Great job on your first attempt! Robi says he will send a copy of Slackline Magazine to anyone that sends him a stamp for each issue to: Slackline Magazine Robi Borchard P.O. Box 205 El Portal, CA 95318 I am going to send him a sheet of stamps and twenty bucks, because it's worth it. I think we all should support Robi and Blair in their effort to get the first ever Slackline Magazine off the ground.

I stand by every word of my quote from Robi. I think it's about time someone stacked out the magazine territory. Qudos to Robi and Blair for taking on the responsibility.

Yo Robbi, I just got your mag a little while ago. Its definatly worth taking a gander through. Nice highline beta, and way to go with padding the trees thats pretty important. That was a good vibe going up there at the rostrum this summer man, lets do it again this summer! Take care, and keep up with the good mags...

Gotta say it's not what I expected. Quite the different mag. ;) Are you planning on growing this into a full-fledged "big" magazine someday man? Cause if so, then that's awesome. It's quite cool to see someone start from scratch like this!

I didn't put .com at the end of robiborchard@hotmail.com but now you can cut and paste this one. Sorry for the confusion.
