This is one of my favourite climbing pictures to date. Taken on a quick one-day jaunt to Wanaka on our way back to Christchurch airport (we got chased out of the mountains by weather a few days early).

Timing, timing, timing. This is a decent shot. Had you waited for the talent to make one or two more moves into the light it would be a great shot.

Actually, the whole climb was unfortunately in shadow (the overhang faces south, and the climb goes straight up the middle).
Besides... that was about as high as we managed to get. :oops:
