I'll be visiting my brother in Germany next April in Stuggart. Anybody know of some good Sport slimbing areas, say within a 2 hour drive? I reckon I can teach my bro to belay on a sports route but having him Second on Trad routes would be too worrying for me (and possibly expensive)

Try to locate a guide book of the Frankenjura. There's tons and tons of climbing - the Frankenjura constitutes most of Germany - and most of it's sport. Try checking out www.climb.frankenjura.com . It's got the info you need!

Also some great stuff a little closer in the Schwäbische Alb, look at http://www.climbing.de. Most is about half an hour to an hour away. The classic guidebooks for the area come from http://www.panico.de.

I actually live here in Stuttgart so send me a message if you want to hit the rock (still a noob though).
