I was a guide, 100 years ago: 5-6 years with ICE (International Climbing Expeditions) and Parks and Rec. Yes, people paid me to climb. Ahhhhh. Helped teach the local climbing clubs Advanced climbing class for a couple of years (awesome awesome program). Ran the University's outdoor program for a couple of years and did some climbing then also. I've met and climbed with some great people along the way. Climbing for @40 years and can still get up most 5.9 up to hard 10's now (trad) although I suspect my now lard ass might get stuck in that 5.9 Offwidth-chimney thing on Traveler Buttress at Lovers Leap:-) I enjoy it as much in my later 50s as when I was in my 20's.
