My first rockclimbing adventure happened when I was in 6th grade, when a self-confidence building class took us out to climb one weekend. I made a promise to myself that day that I would climb again. I didn't own up to that promise until 15 years later...but I kept it! I've now only been climbing since 8/2002 but it has become a lifestyle for me. I now try to get to Jtree or the local crag every possible weekend that I can. Other than climbing, I'm a biologist that loves camping in the mountains and taking roadtrips. =)
