More Info:
I'm somewhat disabled and got into climbing by accident. Bought a harness to use on my inversion table as a way to take pressure of bad knee and ankle joints while hanging upside down to stretch the vertebrae in my back. I have a mixed nerve problem that is due in part to lower back problems pinching nerves to my feet. Neurologist claims its due to damage caused by dioxins and carcinogens. All I know is that the inversion table helps and now I'm climbing too. 10-25-11... Just bitching... nothing a pro would get hyped about but I just pulled off my first 5.9 yesterday.. I'm hyped. Out again tomorrow.. What a friggin nuube I am. I just climbed some 5.6 to 5.8 at Luna Park, NM the other day.. my previous 5.9 was truly an overly optimistic rating. It has to be about 5.6 to 5.7 at the most. Tried to lead a 5.7 and surrendered it to my partner. Would have aided to the first bolt and lead free from there but hey, not real! So... I'm a 5.6- free at this point with a few lucky .7"s may .8's. Fuck this stuff is hard. My hats off to you all! I'll never quit though...
