More Info:
I have been climbing off/on for 8 years. My first onsite lead was a 5.9 sport. Lead 5.8 trad with no problems and I love to boulder. Working on leading high .10’s and will continue to challenge 11’s on TR.

My claim to fame is making a First Accent on a trad route. I rated it .10a and confirmed the ratings with several local climbering buddies. I wanted to make it a 5.9+, but they insisted it was a .10a. I named it "Crystals and Flake City" because this is all you have on this granite piece. I need to take a photo and post it.

I do some trad stuff (moderates) in Colorado, based from the West Denver area in the summer hanging with my Colorado friends. But I hang in middle and south NM in the winter with friends from El Paso and Las Cruces.

Planning to do some explore and find new climbing areas using my motorbike. My maps, compass, GPS, camera, notebook, backpack, and shoes are ready; I just need some nice weather. I’ve just begun meeting my new friends in AZ and will get to UT again sometime soon. I’m busy now with climbing trips to Mexico and that is still just too much fun for me.

Jamming with my Strat with my musical friends on Friday evenings, whenever we feel like it and especially when the beer is cold.

Before you criticize someone, you should climb a route in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them you're way up above and you have their shoes. Unless they really smell.

No matter what happens, somebody will find a way to take it too seriously.

I've been wanting to "Just Say No to Mank". I'm looking for an orgainization to deal with my fear. Know any?

You know, I used to think that my brain was the most complicated and important organ in my body, but then I realized which organ was telling me that all the time.

I think we could get along, remember, I'm from New Mexico; if you don't like my personality just wait five minutes and it will change. Personally, I have enough problems just managing all those voices in my head, but it can be easy at times because we are easily amused.

Currently weight status 170lbs and falling. Hey look, there are some donuts left over on the table! Sorry, I’m slightly schizophrenic and so am I; most of us are quite humorous. Thank goodness they invented Decaf. If you want to climb with us let us know. That is why I am so good at multi-processor, multi-user network programming. We all can watch all the details while some of us party...

---Escale
