More Info:
I moved from Lancaster, PA to Utah in 2000. I will climb anything with any one, and would climb 7days a week if I didn’t need a Sabbath so bad. I started climbing by myself down on the banks of the Susquehanna River. Eventually I turned into a sport climber. My desire to learn more about climbing and have a unique adventuresome college experience brought me to Cedar City, Utah, where I continued in the sport climbing and bouldering scene. A year of “working” routes and problems left me unfulfilled, and I purchased a handful of traditional gear from a friend who became strictly a boulderer. In the fall of 2001 I endeavored to become a traditional climber, after several miserable failures at wall routes in Zions, I decided to stick to single pitch traditional lines. In late December of the same year I climbed my first wall, “Lunar Ecstasy V 5.8 C2+” with a new acquaintance Andrew Christensen. From there it was all over, that winter we climbed two grade six climbs as well as many other grade fours and fives. My new passions in traditional climbing are leading me towards alpinism, waterfall ice and most of all first assents. Other pass-times I particularly enjoy are, “Honest Dialogue” and Rhetoric about Theological world views. I love travel and meet new people. I guess that is why I am so poor! I lived in Kenya for three month in 1994, and building a Library for a Kesserian Secondary school. I also lived in Poland for another summer. I hiked the Appalachian Trail in 1998 in five and a half months…I think this was the most relaxing experience of my life. I am currently Teaching Woodshop and CAD in the Seattle Area.
