Got dragged into climbing kicking and screaming during a spring break trip to North Carolina in 1983. After the initial scare (which took 6 months to get over), decided to try again. Been climbing ever since. :-)
Don't climb hard (far too many hobbies to dedicate 100% to climbing - there *is* life outside of climbing to be explored, too ;-) ), but do like to climb, and get out to explore new and unknown places. To this end I have, since the early 90s, been maintaining a website dedicated to climbing crags in Maryland (http://indy-ventures.net/~indy/climbing/guide.html), and from that ultimately wrote a guidebook, "Climb Maryland!".

If you're in the Maryland region and in need of a climbing partner and/or want to escape the "maddening crowds" of the more populated crags, be happy to hook up.
