ME:

Live in Pleasanton CA (Bay Area). 43 y.o. Eager to get more outdoor climbing experience. Looking for top-roping, following experienced leaders on multi-pitch cleaning, then learning to lead. Most interested in Trad climbing. Like Yosemite and Lover's Leap (CA) type terrain/venues, e.g. granite. Have full leader rack but not yet learned to use it! Have read all the climbing and anchoring books over and over. Just need experience and partners now. Don't yet have climbing buddies/crew/posse. Super normal guy, no heavy attitudes, issues, views to lay on anyone. Just want to climb, have fun, meet nice folks.

EXPERIENCE:

Climb 5.10b/c indoor, 5.9 outdoor toprope, and follow/clean 5.8 outdoor Trad.

Took Basic Rockcraft Seminar from Mountain Adventure Seminars (MAS) 7/2004.

Took 2-day Lover's Leap Multi-Pitch Camp 9/2004 and again 7/2005 at Lover's Leap CA with MAS, climbed/followed/cleaned 5 routes 5.7-5.8 (see my ascents). See the, IMHO, super groovy pix of this experience, HERE!
Climbed Matterhorn Peak near Bridgeport CA 8/20/2005.
