i mostly trad climb but i dabble in all other styles from bouldering to aid climbing...ive been having fun with sport climbing again... ive shifted my focus from clipping the chains to trying to master the movements throughout the climb...i try to climb in good style, with focus on smooth movement rather than difficulty, there for my best climb ever was not my hardest by a longshot...i feel better making a 5.10 climb look and feel good rather than cranking up a 5.13 whatever and looking like crap...
i like to keep the focus on fun and movement and being out doors , i love the feel of rock on my hands, the smell of the chalk and dirt mixing...the sound of the wind in my ears or encouraging words from my belayer...
i love to climb...
