I grew up in the Midwest (Iowa) and started climbing in '01. Contrary to popular belief, there is climbing in Iowa; some nice limestone bluffs by Monticello. Since Iowa, I've moved to Burlington, VT in pursuit of my Ph.D. in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics. Besides rock climbing, I am also involved with SCUBA diving, backpacking, and mountain biking. If you want a partner for climbing in the New England area, let me know, I would be more than happy, or if you would like information about climbing in the Midwest, I can help with that as well.
