I am an active healthcare professional living in the Easter Sierras. I began climbing Summer 2010 and absolutely love it! I've taken three one-on-one day-long course with a certified guide to get the basics down for trad climbing (gear placement, creating anchors, multi-pitch, safety, and leading). I also recently participated in the two-day Rock Warrior Way Falling and Comittment clinic in Red Rocks, NV with Arno Ilgner. That was an amazing experience!
I have a crag-dog-in training..a small black and tan coonhound named Sophie. She is still shy around climbers but warms up a little quicker now to stinky climber-guys. She's a flirt.
I've entered this sport late in life but I do hope to get good enough to experience as many of the classics as I can!
I also love to hike, camp, backpack, fish, scuba, and cook.
