So, a profile, eh? Average Joe Climber, been at it for about 10 years or so. Occassional moments of boldness, but more often asking myself "Why did I want to do this again?" Seriously though. Love the sport, but I love the places that it takes me and the people that I encounter along the way even more. I climb, mountain bike, and hike as much as the job and the budget will allow. My greatest aspirations are long free routes in places that are really difficult to get to, so I keep testing the skills on the mountains of the Western US whenever possible. Ocassionally, I can be convinced to spend the weekend clipping bolts, and bouldering is always a blast, especially those heady ones. I have always lived by the motto that the best climber is the one who is having the most fun, but have cursed on a long route enough times to know that this is sometimes a hindsight kind of fun. Anyways, Choo choo, the trains a comin' !!!!
