More Info:
First and foremost, I'm 3rd in line to the holy Norman throne, right behind my sister Amber. Yes, there is a little sibling rivalry, but that's only cause she's a tattle tail. Any way, my sacred position: "St. Stephen of the Bipolar Freak of Norman Faith Church, The Holy Hit Man, Leader of the Attention Deficit/Hyperactive Disorder Choir, Runner of the Norman Harem, Protector of the Norman Bowl of Purity, Namer of Normans, and Minister of Ménage a Trios." I've been climbing since around 1995. My birthday is February 24th for all of you that just love me and just feel the need to send me gear on my special day. PM me for shipping information. I'm happily married to the most wonderful woman on the planet, so for you guys still looking for her you can stop, I have her. Pppptttt! I live in Wisconsin so basically I drink beer, eat cheese and fried foods, and have a beer gut. It's mine, it's bought and paid for, and I'm damn proud of being a statistic. A statistic that can climb. As far as my climbing style goes, i'd say it's a cross between scratching, clawing, knees counting as tools and extra points of contact with out-of-breath huffing and puffing and/or guttural grunting followed by a slew of obscenities after I smash something during my 5.4 solo, onsite, redpoint. This summer (2004) I am taking up aid climbing because I heard it is fat man's climbing. Since I haven't seen my toes since 1993, I figured I might just fit in. I have two dogs Morgan and Dingo. I love them. Like I always say, "I like my wife, but I love my dogs." Which is usually followed by a punch in the arm. My wife says with the two dogs in the house she has three children to take care of. I don't get it. Gave up climbing in Winter of 2004 for golf. Still love all my friends here, though. Besides, golf is more challenging mentally. It makes you swear more. I like that. I officially quit climbing in 2006 after growing bored of it from the lack of mental challenge and the lack of desire for long approaches carrying too much crap. Took up golf instead for the mental aspect (and fun, drinking, smoking, swearing). Believe me, it can be VERY mental. Though I do not climb anymore, my home is still open to all fellow climbers and outdoorsy-type wanderers should they need safe haven, a shower, and some eats.
