Started climbing in the fall of '05 in the Field House climbing wall at the University of Iowa. Became good friends with the employees there, (I now work there) they taught me just about everything. Started leading sport in the spring of '06. Spring of '07 learned anchor building and gear placement, Spent a few weeks out west in the summer of '07 leading easy trad routes. Have been leading harder routes on gear this fall - Trying to get in shape for the Red come spring break.
Places I have been: Black Hills (Rushmore, Spearfish Canyon, Sylvan Lake area), Enchanted Rocks, Riemer's Ranch, The Greenbelt (downtown Austin), Jackson Falls, Rocktown, HP40, Colorado (Eldo, 1st Flatiron, Quandry Peak, Mt. Massive), Vedauwoo, Montana(Hyalite Canyon).
