Classic comfort, fits great, easily adjustable on the fly, keeps you cool in the heat of summer.

Meets the basic needs - it's not fashionable and I think that's what I liked most about it - nice simple, traditional - so I'm a trad geek ... shoot me.

Pros? If you want a basic helmet that's cheap, practical, unfashionable, and atavistic looking - this is the helmet for you.

Cons? Applied with my headlamp it's really back heavy!!! - My headlamp is normally quite well balanced on my head (it's a Petzl Duo 8)

THis helmet is easily adjustable, fits everyone really well and protects well. No wonder it gets used so much as rentals to mountaineers. Not a looker. Nevertheless I wear a helmet to get out alive - and this is really solid. I can wear this all day on the mountain and have to reminded it's still there back at camp.
It fits me better than almost all other helmets, and will last forever.
Other helmets might work better for rock but I'm very comfortable with it in alpine conditions. Plus you can sit on it.

This helmet has saved my lifea couple of times. This thing can take a beating and keep on ticking. It rides rather high on the head, but thet's probably why I'm still alive.

The most comfortable helmet I could find. Does ride really high on your head though, but when you're protecting your head, it's not looks you're after.
