Description

"Model which combines excellent sensitivity and fit, with a moderately stiff midsole that makes this shoe perfect for either beginners and intermediate climbers with good support for edging, pockets, and long routes without losing feel. Its last and slip-tension rand yields greater comfort and heel security. Recommended for sport climbing, training and classic routes. Slip-lasting construction with no lining. Great confort and fitting, very precise." No longer available on Boreal's website, but can be found on many online climbing stores.

Good Beginner shoe 3 out of 5 stars

Review by: at-jefft, 2007-10-03

I started climbing in this shoe and it served me well for my learning stage. The rubber is hard so it is very durable and good to learn on with out tearing up the shoes. Edging is ok and the toe seemed good. Overall not a high performance shoe but great to learn technique in.

Good all around shoe. If you’re looking for high performance, specialized shoes; this isn’t the shoe for you. But if you’re just getting started or looking for a comfortable, casual shoe these are great. I’ve had a lot of problems catching small holds with them; my feet seem to be constantly slipping off of holds.

An alright shoe. Edging isn't that good, but they are comfortable and fit well. Not a big fan of the rubber.

Do the job, wear fast, die your feet black, but fit great. They have good rubber, I went down a half size and the heal cup fits beautifully. Good to start with, good for trad, not really good for really long stuff.
