This is a great crampon with one exception. The front bale has this swirl that adds space between the bale and the boot, allowing the rope to get wedged in between the bale swirl and the boot. Could cause a fall and almost did. I've used these crampon with mono and dual points and they're both superb! I just wish they'd modify the design of the front bale.
