Wall Ladders 5 out of 5 stars

Review by: yetanotherdave, 2006-11-15

For extended aid climbs these are awesome! So much less fumbly than any other aider I've tried. They are a bit big, so not great for routes with occasional aid, but if you're going to be aiding for any length of time there's none better.

awesome ladders, definitely a step up from my thin strap ones. A bit expensive but aid just seeems to be that way....

I own misty moutain aiders and my buddy has these. We did the Prow and leaning tower with 4 of theses and two misty mountains for the second. These are sooooo comfy, best I have used. Warning the are beefy so if you are doing a good deal of free climbing these may not be the aider for you.

I've used BD aiders and the Metolius ladders but nothing comes close to these bad boys. No more trying to sneak your foot into an aider on a dicey hook move, with the Yates Wall Ladders you just step and go. I really like the stiff plastic tubing the keeps the top step from collapsing when weighted below.
Definitely worth the money.

if can't get russians or for some reason don't like them (??) these are the aiders to have. available in 6 and 7 step sizes i use four aiders with two on each daisy, a six step on the left and a seven step on the right. super comfy to stand in, speader bar makes them easy to move up. bomber construction, you will pass them on to your kids no matter how many walls you do.
