I bring this thing on every trip, hike, outing, etc that I go on, winter, summer, spring or fall. It blocks just about every bit of wind, and keeps you just warm enough when standing around in the warmer months, or moving in the winter. The chest pockets are perfect for stashing just about anything as they stretch a good bit, but never feel like your stuffed with things. They are also above the harness line, and dont get in the way of pack straps. The "Arc'teryx sleeve pocket" is great for a little knife, chapstick, clif shot, little things you need. Great fit. Wish it was a tad bit more water resistant. It seems the extent of the water resistance is a DWR treatment, which isnt very good. I recoated it with nikwax, and still, it seems the fabric doesnt like being treated. In all but a short, light drizzle, wear a hard shell. This thing is great for wind though.

This jacket is seriously amazing the fit is great, Not too warm, Not too cold, and the gusseted arms could not have been designed better. The body of the jacket will not raise much with high reaching. It is damn expensive but worth it for climbing. The freedom of movement is unmatched in anything I have put on...Highly recommend it.

This is one awesome jacket and well worth every penny. Its thin but keeps me much warmer than my MH softshell and breathes better. It fits like it was made for me and looks great. Great quality!

Bought this jacket at the start of my year as a wilderness guide in southern utah. Wore it every day for a year in extreme outdoors environments - during summer generally wore at night time only. It is not very warm - I didnt purchase it as a an insulating layer - It is purely a soft windbreaker with water resistant qualities. Dont buy it for anything other than that - I am sure you will be dissapointed - especially considering the price. Fabric is awesome abrasion resistant and only started to fade a few months into the season. DWR is fickle in my experience with this jacket. Plan on purchasing nikwax every other few weeks to treat the fabric to maintain water repellency. Overall Awesome jacket!
