I had one,it's a nice headlight but when you are walking, the bolt to adjust the headlight is getting loser and loser and when you jump to a rock or something like that your light comesdown and is shining in your eyes.

I love the different light setting. The pivot light so you can adjust it is super. Not as comfortable as the Ion but not bad. The only problem I have had is I sat on it and broke the hinge where the light can be adjusted. think God for super glue. The batters do last pretty long. Good around the camp and ez trail hiking.

This little thing is awsome, has long battery life, 5 different settings, and its 100% waterproof, well not more than 500 feet or something like that but i would not go with any other company than princeton tec or some other scuba light company.

This headlamp is my primary headlamp unless I need a light that reaches out pretty far. I've used my Aurora while backpacking, around camp, while climbing and while caving. It works great for night hiking as long as you don't have to do any route finding. I'd reccomend this headlamp to most people for most situations.

Love it - it's very bright for an LED lamp (brighter than the Petzl Tikka and BD Ion), but I would recommend a halogen lamp for trail finding and brighter needs. It's great for climbing. Waterproof is nice, too. The only problem I've heard about (hasn't happened to mine) is the screw that controls the pivot point can loosen up, making the headlamp floppy. Then you need to tighten the screw.
