Light weight and easy placement. I am just learning trad, and have 2 sets of these. Every placement seems more secure than anything else I carry, even cams a lot of the time. Having 3 different sizes per piece helps, especially since I don't have the experience to grab the perfect size first try.

In the smaller sizes, wires go better than slung. In the larger sizes, i'm much prefer dyneema slings.

I dont use them as often as I should, but when I do they make me happier then even a perfect nut placement.

I never cared for them when I was cleaning a route. Not very hard to get out but just didn't like them as much as Nuts or Cams. I'd rather carry a set of Cams then these.
