Other than TCU's nothing beats this cam in the smaller sizes. The flexibility means that they will walk far less and the aluminum in the cam lobes is slightly softer meaning they grip better. Great for free climbing. My favorite cam..

I have the blue, green and yellow Aliens. They are my favorite small cams and fit into places nothing else will. I've dropped onto the green one from a few feet above it and it held without any problems. Some people complain that Aliens are too hard to find and too expensive. If you look online and time it right, you should be able to find them and catch them at a 20% off sale. Try Bent Gate.

Perfect cam. except the tiny ones in sandstone...then give me a TCU...other than that one situation, Perfect Cam.

Any time I place an Alien I never wory about them coming out. The only cam I have placed that has never blown in a fall.

Absolutely love them and I recommend them to anyone. I use the blue through yellow sizes.
