Good harness. Hasn't dropped me yet. But I would prefer stiff gear loops. Also there are more comfortable harnesses out there. I really like how you don't have to step into the leg loops like a pair of pants.

I've been using this for nearly 2 years and I haven't come across any trouble. I have the newer model of the bod... which consists of the belay loop and clips for the leg strap, they appear to be durable. Despite minimal padding around the legs, it is still comfortable, excellent value for money... i would strongly recommend this harness to anyone beginning or advanced...

This is the only harness that I have owned for the past 12 years; a considerable step up from the swami belt that I used for the previous 14... I like the adjustability of this harness, which lets me use it for everything from sport in a pair of shorts to mountaineering in long underwear, fleece pants, and wind pants. I also find it to be quite comfortable, even compared to some of the padded leg loop harnesses that I tried. Considering that the price is on the low end of the spectrum, this is a great harness.

Note: the new models incorporate a belay loop. While I like the belay loop for holding the leg loops and the waist belt together, I prefer to belay directly off of the harness as it keeps the belay device at a more user friendly position. This may very well be a personal preferance and applies to all belay loops in general.

Inexpensive and comfortable. I notice the newer models have a belay loop, I wish I had one. But it has lasted and has been comfortable very much a great first harness.
