Shira Sunset (view)

A thick blanket of clouds moved over our camp as the sun began to set over the Shira camp on our second night of trekking Kilimanjaro's Machame route. Then, just as the light had all but faded, the fog parted to reveal this ocean of clouds below us. I lept out of the tent in my underwear just in time to set up the tripod and get a few shots - this one was taken was a ten second exposure.
