On top of Mount Olive... (view)

This was in the summer of 1994. It was adventure training with the military. They provided the gear and guide. We went to the Wapta Icefields where we put on the skins and traveled the glacier to ski down at the end of the day. This pictures was taken at noon while on lunch break. The only thing I regret about this photo is the fact that I have a cigarette in my mouth for the picture. This is where I first got the needle and got hooked on climbing.
