The problems petite crimps will will shut down the tall guys, as well as anyone climbing between April and October, but it's the kind of problem that you just want to do again and again. Snake Eyes--a Georgia higballSnake Eyes was the first problem done at Shaking Rock, originally cleaned and sent by Doug Duncan in the early 70's. Don't worry, the crux is down low... if you can find the "thank god" jug! Climber: John Hur. Photo by Dirk Peters.

Egg-shaped boulders...Mantle RightLET'S PUT THIS PLACE ON THE MAP, BABY! Who says there's no climbing in Athens, GA? Shaking Rock is the local bouldering fix, hosting over 100 problems on smooth, round granite. Shaking Rock is famous, or perhaps infamous (or perhaps unheard of!) for its grueling mantels. In the shot below, Brice prepares to mantle with Steve Ricter "spotting." Photo by Dirk Peters.

Taking a Swing on Redneck TendenciesThe left hand is on a pinch and the right throws out to a sloper, makes for a fun swing since you're kinda high up at this point.

Easy part of wigglerockThis is the middle part, or the point of no return. The top out is just above, but if you must bail, bail here. It's a long fall down with an anklebreaker rock beneath.

Wigglerock TopoutThis is the harder of the two topouts. I estimate it to be about 20ft, but I could be wrong. Just wiggle those hips to get up there.
