One more crack to go!

Average Rating = 3.14/5 One more crack to go!

This is me about to finish the first crack section of Old Town. Once I got to the ledge, I felt a whole lot better. Then I looked up and saw there was more crack to go. What an awesome climb!

Perfect rock, perfect gear, gorgeous setting, and a steep face leading to a nice 9+/10- roof. What more could you ask for than a Green Mountain Breakdown. Climber unknown.

Midnight Bouldering at Great Head

Average Rating = 3.17/5 Midnight Bouldering at Great Head

The light spray cools you, and you can hear and feel the waves crashing from somewhere close by. But all you see is the rock, your friends, and the problem in front of you. Magical. Here DByte works out the opening moves to a big dyno.

dont throw rocks

Average Rating = 0.00/5 dont throw rocks

The "do not throw rocks" sign at the top of the South Bubble in Acadia NP. In case you choose not to heed the sign, the park rangers have left a nice pile of head-turners at the sign's base.

Wonderwall with Acadia Scenery

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Wonderwall with Acadia Scenery

This was august of 2005. We had perfect 75-degree weather every day and did nothing but hike, paddle, and climb (climb mostly). We finished the trip with the Cathedral route to the summit of Katahdin. In the background is Monument Cove and the road to Thunderhole.

Some friends, my girlfriend, and myself after climbing the wall in the background. It was funny watching people stop along the road we are standing on to watch us climb.

Acadia Lighthouse

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Acadia Lighthouse

Just a picture I took while in Acadia. I was there with my brother on a summer trip. We were really there because we were going to go Backpacking in the white mountains later, but I climbed around on the cliffs a little. I got to meet a some of the guides who worked for the local guiding company. The guides were awesome people. It seemed like they were the only nice people in Maine. It would be a nice place to come to if there were not so many unhappy people.

Biking up the mountain.

Average Rating = 3.50/5 Biking up the mountain.

I lugged my mountain bike all the way out to Maine and was going to be damned if I didn't use it come rain or shine. It was fogging and misty the whole way up but the sun did peek out a few times. Coasting down the mountain was a blast.

Otter Cliffs on an August Afternoon

Average Rating = 3.50/5 Otter Cliffs on an August Afternoon

This is a shot of me climbing one of the easier routes at Otter Cliffs, Acadia National Park. Yes, I am a NOOB but learning as I go. Acadia has quite a few easy routes so it was perfect for a top-roper like me. Next year I hope to try a little trad!
