A gorgeous winters day in December on the sea cliffs in the west of Ireland. There is some of the nicest climbing in Ireland here.

Unknown climber on Mirror wall. The ramp E15a/5b can be seen rising diagonally on the right. The third black corner after the mirror wall is Pis Fluich, a fantastic HVS 5a (5.9) Pis Fluich is Irish and means p*ssing wet, guess what type of route it is.

Me on Skywalker, unfortunately I fell off at the very top, hit the aforementioned giant block and broke my heel. I'll be back however and this time its personal.

This is my friend Honza climbing Genesis. Genesis is a climb that looks great in photographs but the first piece of gear is not until you are halfway up, this is Ireland so there are no bolts.

This is the Mirror Wall of the Burren. The route is called 'Phoenix in the Mirror' graded E6(6c). I cought this photo after a long day climbing, these two were only starting this 35m.

Located in Co Clare, trad climbing on limestone ranging from 5.11b-512c - E4/5(6a)-E6(6c)

Ailladie is an 800m long limestone sea cliff with routes varying in height from 8m to 30m. The rock is steep with sharp incut holds and most routes take crack lines. Protection is reasonable. There are no bolts and very few fixed pegs. Many of the routes

A VS climb in the burren a classic that is a little polished hence hard for the grade. A must do!

A nice VS with a good crux and good protection.
