Swimming in PebblesThat's what I felt like I was doing in this problem, going completely horizontal while grabbing little pebbles embedded in the rock. One of the weirdest problems I've ever done outside, more like something you would make up in the gym! Photo credit: Dave Jones

Get that crimp above your headWhich crimp? This one?
The monkey traverse is a bit of a pump fest unless you happen to be a local that runs laps on it. Here, I am about half way there. photo credit: Dave Jones

Finishing Up A Flake-filled OverhangRockunderfoot on a fun overhang with lots of flakes. Not sure what problem, as we did not have a guide book, but sit started at lower right and worked to upper left. Photo by J. Thorp.

Poling Pebble, B1More like Poling Pebble Scar. Curt either right at the miserable namesake hold, or one move away, en route to another sendy send. While correcting Curt's slightly-overexposed dome (heehee) on the computer, I made the image b&w. That's BobD behind him giving him sh*t, of course.

Center Route, Umbrella TreeDead center in the line your rope falls down is the climb. The crux is about 20 feet up. You'll be underclinging a crack and have to reach up to two small holds. Once you get above that it's smooth sailing. You reach a very large ledge and then do a fun boulder problem finish to the anchors. In the summer this route is very hot. But in the winter it is warm there making it a great climb when its cold out.

I think he's scaredThis was kinda freaky, the tumbling roll off the back side would have made for a bad day.

Federicosauve on Hagans WallOne of the classic problems on Flagstaff in Boulder. Definately a fun problem, and not too hard on the fingers. I think this next move (mathcing on the sloping ledge) is the crux of the problem.
This photo was taken by my friend Eli.
