That's me, heading up the right-most face climb. Holds are thin, but generally solid, except for an occaisional hold that has worked itself free due to the heavy moisture this wall gets.

This is the notorious Point Dume Arete, and a good representation of its exposure. A good first lead since its technically easy, but has a good amount of exposure. The bolts might be a little run-out for the newly-christened leader.

So my bro goes to caltech and for some reason is gettinga PhD in physics. ANyhows his friend was cool enough to take us out here so i did some bouldering and toproping for the first time outdoors. Shoes are a size too big unfortunatly but that didnt phase me :)

This is the Oceanside Right Route on Point Dume. I really like this climb. it has laybacks, a two finger pocket and a reachy crux almost at the top. The scenery is great too. Photo taken by my friend Rick.

This is a pic of me back in july when me and my buddy went out to california to climb and check out schools. The climbing was great. We hated how there was sand in every hold it was very annoying.

Even though the more difficult routes are around the corner, you can't beat the view of this fun & easy route.

This is a shot of Kristina closeing out the day behind the backdrop of a beautiful sun set, at Point Dume. The route is at the corner of the rock and is about a 5.8. Picture was shot with a digital Cannon elf by myself. This is a great place, and nothing is better that a glass of wine and a female climber to end the day.

I don't know what route this is. The descriptions didn't seem to match. Perfect conditions this day. Some guy told me this was a 5.10 of some sort. Whatever. Even though it was a dirty start, it was fun.
