Everyone experiences the same jaw-dropping episode when the first enter Yosemite Valley and gaze on El Cap for the first time. I think this is especially so for climbers. Had great time climbing in the valley for a week last fall. Wish I could live there...hmmmmm...

In 2005 Dave T. climbed the first ascent of Atlantis, I happened by on the nearby route called South Seas. This was such a good time on the rock.
