We got up early and got onto the Headstone just as the sun started to shining onto it.

Joshua Littlefield leads SW Corner, Jan 19, 2005. One of the most photographed climbs in Joshua Tree - and for good reason.

It rained on us for two straight days, but we did get to see this pretty rainbow.

This was such a fantastic climb and a fantastic photo opp as well.

After the Thanksgiving long weekend, you're going to find a lot of fire wood left behind in the campgrounds.

My book calls this a 5.6, but hey...what's the difference. This is a fun little crack. Great for the beginning leader. Easy gear placement for setting anchors and easy walk-off.
