I call it the Praying HandsFrom a distance this climb looks like a pair of praying hands. A short fun route with a couple of good moves above and below the middle ledge.

Louie on FA of Shell ShockPretty crappy quality photo as it was taken with a point and shoot and then poorly scanned. Anyhow I was asked if I had a photo of this and unfortunately this is the best I have to offer. This is the clip just after the crux.

Geoff on Minor Bolt LadderI took this pic of Geoff while he was low on the first move (a rivet). This is a good practice route because the second clip is reachy and overhung.

Geoff and his Adjustable FifiThis pic I took of Geoff after he gains some height using his Adjustable Fifi. The next clip (a bolt) is quite a reach.

Sean Hangdogin on A Major ConceptThis is the route around the corner from major bolt ladder. This route features about 10' of clean aid crack. The crux is stepping high off a fixed pin to clip a 1/4" spinner above the crack. The route goes free at 12.a.

Sean practicing Aid Mt. RoubidouxThis route is at Mt. Roubidoux in Riverside Ca. You can find at least four good practice aid lines directly below the big cross. This route is called MAJOR BOLT LADDER on the So Cal Aid Guide. The photo was taken by my girlfriend Rachel. The crux of the climb is the old smashie on the second to last move. The wire on the smashie makes strange high pitch ping noises when weighted. Finish with a hook move and your off. Expect 1/4" spinner bolts, rivets, a #1 stopper slot, and a few good 3/4" bolts in just the right places.
