Steve on an unknown problem at HunterA picture of me playing on an unknown problem in the lower section of Hunter rocks. You start under the boulder and work your way right to the two awesome crimps I'm on and then around the face and up.

Preparing for the top outThe top out of this problem is really awkward and scary and until the other day I had never done it. It is really the mental crux of the route, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be LOL.

Conquering my nemesisThis is the Mojo, I have been working on and off on this problem for years and I finally topped it out. I was on a high for the rest of the day. It was definitely an experience that reaffirmed the reason I climb.

Standard American AssentStarting at a two finger pocket with your right, you throw up left to a small edge, match on the same seam then throw to another bad sloping rail, set feet and chuck to the sloper, yell, then throw a foot around, and pull through. The sand landing only helps if you don't send.

Standard American AccentThis route has an undeniable asthetic draw, but the sequence and difficulty will keep you coming back every time. Here Stevie powers through the lower section with some finger strength. Many variations, all classic.

Crispy ConditionsAnother beautiful boulder for those willing to walk a bit. SDS underneath on a nice undercling, move up into solid lockoff, reset and throw for a three finger dish or choice of slopers, shoot for the lip.

xf11Ed gets up on 1997-xf11, named for an asteroid which was calculated to pass frightfully close to the earth. no one could remember this so it became ed's asteroid. If you fall from there, you might not have to worry about the asteroid.
