A very cold February morning gave this granite slab more than enough friction. Checkerboard is a great beginner multipitch.

This shot was taken at the Checkerboard Wall. The view is of the west side of the Organs. The Tooth, the Citadel and most of the bomber climbing is in there.

This puppy likes to play rough. You can walk it faster, but then you'll have a much longer approach. Put it in 4-low and crawl. SUV MIA...

Sugarloaf is the spire on the left side of the picture. You are looking at its east face. The two routes described on the site are on its northwest side. A very beautiful piece of rock!!
