I stumbled across this colourful little formation while ice climbing near the upper falls at Johnston Canyon, just west of Banff. The entire place and the ice climbing opportunities to be found there are stunning.

K-country. The approach was brutal; the ice was thin; but the sun was shining and we loved it.
