View From Northeast Ridge, Pitch 5This is a panorama I stitched together from 10 photos taken at the end of Pitch 5 on the Northeast Ridge of Bugaboo Spire. You can easily make out (from right to left) Eastpost Spire, Crescent Towers, Crescent Spire, Brenta Spire, and the Vowell Group. Pretty hard to beat a view like this!

Castleton Tower playing in the cloudsLeaving Moab after a week (and a successful climb of Castleton Tower) I thought it might cooperate for a nice early morning shot. The sky was incredible, but the clouds weren't moving very fast and they just wouldn't leave the tower. After waiting it out about 30 minutes, this is about the best shot I got.

Supercrack Buttress from the roadShot this photo on a wednesday after a day hiking in canyonlands. There were only three people climbing on the whole buttress! I thought for sure it would be more crowded.

Looking down the crux pitch. We climbed this route in Sept. 2003. Instead of following the original "Head Crack" we finished the climb in the more popular 5.7 crack to the right. I took this photo just after pulling the crux bulge on this pitch. As you can see we had great views of clouds when we got to the top.

Emerging from Wiessner ChimneyAngela Arp relieved to be emerging from the depths of Weissner Chimney. This was one of our first 'real' trad climbs. When I say 'real' I mean 'runout and scary for its grade'.
