This route is about A3 to the right of fat stick. Nice route. Goes straight up.

My first lead (Te Dam 5.7 ***) after my agonizing knee injury I’m still very shaky and I lead with “5.10 Guide almighty” the best shoes if u get back on rock after a legs injury

Winter in the gunks ia not a time to forget about climbing. There are always things to do, even mixed alpine style climbing.

A friend took this black and white of me while I was rope soloing the huge Kansas City roof at the Gunks. It is either a hard 5.12 free climb, or a wonderful A1 crack with bomber gear. I am hanging completely horizontal in the picture.
